Constructed in ceramic, coloured glass, mirrors, shells, wood.
Signed and dated on a flint in bottom right corner.
Elin Svipdag 1905-1987 was a Swedish artist who exhibited in the
Kunst Museum, Copenhagen, The Louvre in Paris, and important collections
Including the Late Stanley Seger - collector extraordinaire. Southeby’s March 2014.
This rare piece is the last of 5 pieces made by Elin, all of which I have sold.
I have one in my own collection.
There is extensive paper provenance and materials included with this picture.
A very sound investment which is likely to increase in value.
H104cm, W102cm, D6cm.
