This bench came directly from the Wood and Sons Factory in Trent, UK. If you look carefully on the legs there are dozens of makers labels.
The large stone turntables were used to paint the pieces between firings in the kilns. Wood and sons started in 1865 and continued until quite recently.

A set of 48 Chairs by FDB Mobler furniture signed and dated 1969.FDB
Mobler only produced furniture by Borge Mogensen and Hans J Wegner, two
of the most influential designers of the period.

A really good heavy quality pair of designer Danish chairs with stamps on the back rails 'Centrum Mobler' inside a coastline of Denmark and designed by Kai Mikkelsen. The attention to detail is very high, lovely stitching, soft feather filled cushions.

This is the first one of these I have managed to buy in 20 years (I have seen two or three). I love these...made in oak with pegged joints to take a very substantail weight this one bears a just readable, old paper label, 'EDINBURGH COLLEGE OF ART, SCULPURE STAND II, NOT TO BE REMOVED'. Lovely bleached out oak, splashes of plaster and paint. Swivel mechanism with steel bands and castors. Original castors to feet. This would make a very cool coffee table. Approx 27 inches across,20 inches high.

This cog is another that lent itself to being mirrored. 6 moulded brackets are around the edge.

This is one of the largest cogs that I bought and with the teeth on the inside it just had to be mirrored. The cog is a sandwich construction which you can see in the close ups.In the outside picture I placed three loose cogs inside these are not included,but take your pick from our selection and design your own mirror. Diameter 6ft depth 4.5 inches.

Designed in our workshop this cog coffee table is comprised of two large wooden cog patterns c1890, bolted together. Very sturdy and really cool....well I thought so anyway ! Diameter 4ft Height 18 inches.

Top quality rosewood veneered dining table which splits into two halves and stands as a pair of consoles in a large room. The chromed star base is in really good condition. The top is in its original polish and also very good.

This table was designed by Kurt Ostervig
(1912-1986) a well known Danish designer who has exhibits in the Museum
of Modern Art in New York. It is original 1960's, made in lovely
figured rosewood to a very high quality. The spider leg design and the
castellated moving knuckle joints along the leaves are features that
make this table very different. Fully open it will seat 6-8 people.
They are rare in rosewood and Ostervig is a very collectable designer.
Condition: Very good original condition, some small scratches from general use...nothing large enough to worry about.

This table by Moller was made in Denmark in about 1960. The wood is teak and is finished to a high laquer shine.

This leather sofa was made in buffalo hide c1970's and is in very good condition as the pics show. It has sprung cushions on the seats and is feather filled on the back cushions. The style is very much Borge Mogensen.

This desk came from Sweden and we have polished it and restored the leather top in our workshops. The desk comes apart in seconds to release two side cabinets which would be perfect as sofa or bedside tables. It won't be in the shop for long I am sure !

This is a beautiful 1850's heavy duty cast
iron machine table base to which we have added a period 1850's stone
top. We have not cut the top which is original with its 4 curved
corners. The top is solid Yorkshire stone, not re-constituted. The
quality of casting the base is very high quality indeed. We have
polished the base and sealed it with laquer The cast iron feet have
leather pads so as not to damage a wooden floor.
We have set it at an eating height of just under 31 inches, therefore
this table could be used in a kitchen or conservatory situation or as a
side table/desk.
