A large 1930's Art Deco department store clock Print E-mail

This stunning 28 inch square Art Deco clock has its original white glass dial and clear glass dial cover. All the hands are original. It is framed in its thick chrome frame and would probably have hung in a large 1930's department store. The quality is outstanding. We have replaced the old mains movement with a quartz battery one for ease. It now runs perfectly !

Condition: Perfect original condition.

A Gordon Russell 'Sudely' sideboard 1937

This sideboard by the great English designer Gordon Russell is of very high quality. There is an identical sideboard in the new museum of his work, at his old workshops in Broadway Worcestershire. It is known as the Sudely suite and the fine veneers are in Bubinga an African rosewood.
The back bears the metal signed plate.

English School Headmaster's cupboard c1870 Print E-mail

This fabulous mahogany cupboard came from a school in England. The
glow from the cupboard is genuine...it is such a great original colour. There are many shelves inside ready for books or papers.
Lovely original wear and patination. The cupboard comes in two sections(top and bottom)

A top quality officers campaign chest made in the mid 19th century in the best quality mahogany that money could buy. All the fittings are brass and it is also fitted with a BRAMAH lock on the right top drawer (as is the tradition). This is where the phrase "a right bramah" comes from. It meant that something was the best of its type.
This one is a fabulous original colour, with its original French polished surfaces all adding up to a very fine patina.

A really great small chest with a stunning original marble top and all original handles. All made in solid Swedish pine and so very heavy. This one dates from the 1930's and as usual is ready to go
