Title: A Swedish Biedermeier Longcase clock
Country: Sweden
Period: 1870

This stunning longcase clock was made in Eskilstuna near Stockholm, Sweden by Eric Walfberg. The movement is 8 day weight driven and strikes the hour with a two tone chime. We have had the movement serviced and it keeps excellent time. The original glass face is domed. The cabinet is made in pine and veneered in figured birch. It would stand very well in a cool modern interior, or in a full antique setting it is so clean in its design.

Condition: In very clean condition, small shrinkage mark to front right below dial. Clock serviced and working perfectly. All french polish is original and has a great shine.

Specifications: Height: 82 inches, Width: 20 inches, Depth: 11 inches
